Christmas is just over a month away and never like this year am I working to make my contribution in terms of sustainability. In fact, between decorations and purchases, it is estimated that Christmas represents 6% of the carbon dioxide that each of us produces in a year, but if it is true that its spirit is one of sharing, let us remember that an entire planet and many species of animals deserve to receive precious gifts: respect and protection.
For this reason, I thought it would be useful to select a few proposals to give Christmas a touch of sustainability without giving up the magical atmosphere that characterizes this special moment of the year.
From choosing the tree, lights and eco-friendly decorations to choosing the menu, made up of organic and made in Italy products, everyone can make a difference: because what is good for the planet is good for us too.
Bread box
The bread basket by LARS NYSØM is a minimalist design piece for the kitchen that keeps food fresh for a long time, essential to avoid waste. packed in a gift bag of the same reusable material. Realized entirely in Italy by master craftsmen, they are ideal for both indoor and outdoor tables external, and are available in the dimensions 140 x 140 cm, 140 x 180 cm, 140 x 240 cm and 140 x 300. Easy to wash by hand and in the washing machine up to 30 °, after washing, if left dry flat, do not require ironing.
Christmas decorations
