Gli amici appassionati di shopping online lo sanno bene: i prezzi su Amazon possono variare anche di molto sulla base dei pezzi disponibili, del periodo, della domanda o delle strategie dei venditori stessi.
Se per alcuni prodotti le fluttuazioni possono essere minime e per nulla significative, in altri casi i ribassi possono essere molto convenienti anche al di fuori delle iniziative commerciali più famose come il Black Friday o i Prime Day.
Come controllare il prezzo dei nostri oggetti preferiti in modo da acquistarli nel momento più favorevole? Esistono una serie di siti, app ed estensioni per il browser che possono fare al caso nostro.
Deepa e CamelCamelCamel
I servizi fondamentali sono Keepa e CamelCamelCamel. Per usare entrambi i servizi occorre creare un account e accedere con le proprie credenziali o loggarsi tramite le utenze social, una volta all’interno si possono impostare i prodotti e le soglie d’interesse e usare una serie di strumenti come il grafico dell’andamento storico, le allerte di abbassamento e disponibilità e la comparazione dei prezzi anche sulle versioni internazionali di Amazon.
Sia Deepa che CamelCamelCamel dispongono delle rispettive estensioni per Chrome, Firefox, (Keepa anche per Edge e Opera) per integrarne dunque le funzionalità all’interno del browser e su CamelCamelCamel si può anche accedere a una lista dei prodotti che negli ultimi tempi hanno subito una sensibile riduzione di prezzo, per capire se fra quelli c’è qualcosa che possa interessarci.
Le proposte di Amazon
La stessa Amazon ci aiuta in qualche modo a tracciare i prodotti, per esempio con le liste oppure con le estensioni ufficiali come Amazon Assistant per Chrome e Firefox.
Amazon Assistant è l’estensione ufficiale, installa un minisito sul browser e ogni volta che cerchiamo un prodotto online ce lo propongono sulla piattaforma attraverso una barra che si visualizza in alto sulla schermata.
Honey è invece un’estensione per codici e coupon che ci aiuta a risparmiare applicando automaticamente codici e coupon sconto, ma indica anche i momenti migliori per finalizzare un acquisto mostrando la variazione dei prezzi e allertando l’utente quando i prodotti sono in sconto.
Le app
Esistono infine alcune applicazioni, per iOS e Android, che fanno più o meno la stessa cosa: monitorano i prezzi e inviano notifiche rispetto al budget inserito. Sono per esempio PriceRadar (iOS), Prezzi sotto controllo (Android) o Price Tracker (entrambe le piattaforme, in quest’ultimo caso si possono importare le proprie liste dei desideri).
