Spring is coming and it is time to think about our beauty, thinking of the beautiful season as well as the physic we must think of the skin, its hydration and, let’s face it, its depilation.
This year I decided to make a breakthrough in the management of unwanted hair and a few weeks ago I use the
Homedics Duo Quartz 
What is it and how does it work? Duo Quarz is an epilator equipped with two independent technologies: the IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) or the pulsed light used in beauty centers that acts directly on hair follicles to permanently reduce unwanted hair and the innovative AFT (Advanced Fluorescence Technology) , a special filter that prevents shorter waves of light from overheating the skin, favoring shorter and faster treatment times.
I’m using Homedics Duo Quartz once a week on legs, underarms and bikini area, choosing 2-3 intensity levels and avoiding the many I have on my skin (the biggest ones should not be exposed to pulsed light).
The operation is very simple: before using the epilator must be perfectly shaved with a razor because the pulsed light recognizes the hair bulb under the skin. Already after the first treatment you get much smoother legs with a more slow regrowth and with the great advantage of being able to do everything at home in the most comfortable moment … even in front of the TV!
Indicatively the recommended use times are:
- Legs – 15 minutes
- Bikini area – 5 minutes
- Armpits – 2 minutes
- Face (using the appropriate adapter) – 2 minutes
