I finally saw the exhibition The Art of The Brick: more than 100 sculptures made with Lego bricks by Nathan Sawaya.
The LEGO, simple game, become the vehicle of art and expressive form like clay, marble, wood or bronze.
In addition to original creations Sawaya in 2D and 3D, a mix of modern art, pop art and surrealism, it is possible to admire the Lego key reconstructions of classical works such as the Venus de Milo, the Mona Lisa or the Thinker by Rodin and even a dinosaur skeleton 6 meters long.
Needless to hide it: this exhibition is special because it represents what each of us, at least once in their life ,has experienced thanks to the Lego bricks … for example the cake of my last birthday, do you like it?
