Today let’s talk again about travel and in particular about geek destinations with a news that, I’m sure, will brighten the spirits of the ‘80s video games lovers: Nintendo America confirmed that the first theme park Super Nintendo World will open in Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, one of the major theme parks in the country.

The park will celebrate the characters that made the company famous in the world of video games and consoles: there will be Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, the Goomba, Yoshi and Toad.

The opening of the park in Osaka in 2020 will coincide with the year of the Olympic Games hosted its own in Japan and for the moment there are no further details about the construction of the other two Nintendo temples in Hollywood and Orlando, both within their Universal Studios.

Stay tuned!
