Often I talk about smartworking, the remote working mode so loved by us Millennials that allows us to be able to complete the activities without necessarily having an office available.
A study conducted by Poly shows that Generation Z and the Millennials are able to better manage distractions than previous generations, using headphones to isolate themselves or moving into comfortable spaces such as sofas or upholstered chairs to work: I myself often find myself in working on the sofa or sitting on the bed!
Undeniable that in these cases the technology plays an increasingly important role in the working life of all of us: light and compact PCs and devices, wireless headphones that allow us to communicate even on the move with freedom of movement: let’s think for example of when we are away , we are moving from one appointment to another and at the same time we have an important call.
Today I want to talk to you about a product that I’m testing these days and that I find particularly useful in the workplace: the Plantronic Voyager 5200 headphones, earphones with a really good sound quality thanks to the combined microphones and an isolation from the background noise, including the wind in the case of outdoor environments.
The design is particularly attentive to the stability of the device (fundamental if it is in motion) and to comfort, combined with a coating for protection from light rain, moisture and sweat.
The Voyager 5200 headset connects with Siri, Google or Cortana and allows you to call contacts in the phonebook, send messages, schedule meetings or search the web; moreover the vocal announcements announce the ID of the incoming calls and it will be enough to pronounce “Reply” or “ignore” to manage the calls.
