Workouts for my first half marathon don’t stop even on vacation, that’s why I took advantage of the days spent in Vienna to discover it … running!
In fact, Vienna offers many itineraries for running, which has become a real means of visiting the city by combining physical exercise with useful tourist information that Vienna SightRunning will be happy to give you.
The proposed itineraries range from 7 to 20 km and, based on the length chosen, will lead you to see the main attractions of Vienna and its surroundings with a local runner, in our case the friendly Florian with whom we traveled the city center.
The route that takes you to the Schoenbrunn Palace is also very interesting, where the wonderful gardens and tree-lined passages of the Habsburg summer palace await you. We pushed ourselves up the hill to the Gloriette, a steep climb that led us to a spectacular view of the city.
No climb if instead you decide to run along the Danube Canal: only well-marked paths, bars and restaurants where you can stop post workout.
Keep going!
