Since I wore Playstation VR, the new system for virtual reality for Playstation 4, the game is not been the same: I found myself directly to the action, lived every detail and completely immersed in Star Wars: Battlefront VR experience.
Like the other similar devices, the viewer is meant to be worn as a helmet, and the two screens, one per eye, combined with an optical system of lenses reproduce the 360 degree virtual environment. The full realistic 3D audio complete all.
Playstation VR will be available on the market from October 13th at a price of € 399, but here’s some technical feature:
- Display: OLED 5.7 “full HD 120 Hz (latency 18 ms), 960 x 1080 per eye
- Field of view: Approximately 100°
- Sensors: Accelerometer, Gyroscope
- Connectivity: HDMI, USB
