“Stand up straight” How many times we heard that by our mothers?
Personally, I thought was a pain in the neck, but over the years I realized that as well as being important for health, good posture conveys a sense of security, makes us look taller and more attractive than those who walk with a curved dull.
Keeping proper posture while sitting can be even more complicated, but considering that we spend most of our day at the desk or with hunched shoulders concentrated front of a monitor is clear that it becomes even more important.
That’s why today I want to talk about Lumo Lift: a small wearable device that hooks up with a simple magnetic clip to your shirt and with a vibration alerts us if we’re taking the wrong posture.
A special attention is also aesthetic: Lumo Lift, currently only available as an app for iOS, is an elegant tag square available in several colors and can also be worn under clothes, but in the future we could see it also integrated in jewelry.
Another example of how technology can help us solve the problems caused… by the technology itself!
