I am back from an intense weekend full of sun, sea and sport in Loano during the launch of the Loano Outdoor, the new mobile app that allows you to discover the trails for outdoor sports and, at the same time, tourist information about the Ligurian town.
The tour organized by Soul Running was the occasion to discover part of Loano’s territory offer to trekking, running, trail and mountain biking enthusiasts through a photo contest that saw the best shots displayed, at the end of the day, at the Town hall (if you are curious, have a look on the pics on Instagram through #loanoutdoor).
The real surprise was to discover that Loano offers 180 km of walking or mountain biking routes with different levels of difficulty that can accommodate the most experienced athletes as well as families.
Thanks to the App Loano Outdoor, available for Android and soon also for iOS, you will be able to view on your smartphone maps and information on difficulty levels, travel times, and altitude across the paths, while geo-location allows you to receive notifications near the many points of interest.
