Today I want to talk to you about Entrupy, a microscopic scanner created by a start-up within New York University.
Thanks to the big data and a database of 3 million micro-images collected by analyzing 30,000 products of 11 luxury brands, Entrupy is able to capture the surface of the product to be analyzed and compare it with the original one to recognize its authenticity.
Considering the extent of counterfeit trade in the world, which with more than $ 450 billion is ranked first in the world among “illecit trade”, it is easy to understand Entrupy’s success: a little invasive product that allows you to recognize false products in a short time and without too much cost.
What do you think about it?
