In the list of my good intentions for the year there is decluttering: breaking free from clothes and accessories that I don’t use … to make room for new arrivals 🙂
My time limit is in garments that I haven’t used for at least 2 years but that are in good condition, a real shame to don’t give them a second chance!
If the motivation is certainly noble, there is on the contrary that the sale or exchange requires time, but fortunately in the last few years apps have come that make this task easy and fun.

Depop

Depop is a Made in Italy pride, even if it has conquered the whole of Europe with its simple to use interface and its familiar graphics because similar to that of Instagram. Just sign up, take pictures of the head you want to free, write the description and tags, choose the price and share on all social networks to increase visibility. Payments are protected and made through PayPal. There is also the option to trade items of the same amount. The commission is 10% of the price.

Shpock

Shpock is an app born in Germany not very different from Depop as a setting but offers the possibility to sell a wide range of products: clothes, accessories and shoes but also furniture, technological gadgets, cameras. It works all over Europe, but the convenience is that the objects are shown according to the buyer’s geographical location. Another important aspect: the service is completely free.

Svuotaly

Another free platform to empty the wardrobe is Svuotaly: the product sheets are very detailed and well done on the platform you can actually recreate your closet to be emptied. It’s very practical if you have a lot of items to sell and there’s even a peer-to-peer option.

Vestiaire Collective

Vestiaire Collective is the right place to sell and buy designer clothes, but the real added value is that they follow the collection and delivery of products, certifying in the process the value and originality of the goods. When the item is sold, it is shipped from Vestiaire Collective to the buyer and the sum is credited to the seller. The system is easy and requires little effort.

Rebelle

Compared to Vestiaire Collective, Rebelle has a focus on vintage luxury. Also in this case, Rebelle guarantees that the garment is authentic, takes care of shipping and protects payments. The process is similar, with a passage in the atelier to check the quality of the garments.

Have fun!
