Just over a year ago me and my boyfriend decided to go to live together in a house that we chose, furnished and designed together.

We were lucky: we have a similar style and therefore, wall colors aside, we had not discussed particularly and I think that at the end the house reflects both.

Despite the passage of more than 12 months, however, there are still some details to work and improve including a chest of drawers in the bedroom.

Our bedroom has warm colors rather through a wall color marsala and a pop-style due to a framework of Diabolik and Eva Kant hung over the bed and headboard in an increasingly style that we built together.

Starting to a white chest of drawers, then, the idea is to better integrate it with the style of the room and that’s why in recent weeks I tested some app dedicated to furnishings in search of ideas.

Among all, the one I was most helpful was Houzz, which provides more than 10 million photos of interiors and exteriors decorated in taste and style of architects from around the world. One of the services I most appreciate is “Ideabooks”: the photograph collection more useful to decorate my environments.

The ideas are there, now I just have to convince my boyfriend to not make room like a sequel of Star Wars and it’s done… I’ll keep you updated!
