We used to take pictures taking advantage of the magic of the golden hour and now we are in trouble to manage clouds, gray skies, low light and little chance to explore new and stimulating views.
No panic: even photography during the winter season has its own charm and its own rules that will transform what you now see as obstacles in sources of inspiration.
Light
The scarcity of light should not always be seen as a difficulty: choose an area of light and photograph it, leaving the task of enhancing it in the shadow surrounding it.
Rain
Let’s resign to his company for the next few weeks, trying to exploit it to capture the reflections in the puddles, in the wet surfaces or in the glass to create really interesting textures.
Flat lay
This is a type of shot that I particularly love: it is the photos taken from above and perfect for making interesting shots at home, perhaps inserting “cozy” elements such as plaid tartan or fur, some light, a steaming cup and maybe an arm with a warm sweater peeping out.
Have fun!
