Today I talk to you about my Roman Holiday … technologic. Yes, because I have just spend the weekend at the Maker Faire, the European edition of the Maker Faire, the most important innovation show in the world.
From where can I start? The location was La Sapienza and the event hosted more than 700 inventions divided between flying drones and robots but also music, wearable tech and fashion… “fashion”, you read right, and here are my favorite inventions from the caltwalk.
Parametric Fashion Design
The idea was come from three architects who decide to experiment with new materials applied to fashion. The result? you can see in my picture with Michela Musto, one of the creators: original details and effect that could very well be placed on an item of high fashion.
Carapace Project
Also in this case a group of designer decides to experiment and thanks to 3d printing created a collection of jewelry and accessories ranging from earrings to bracelets passing through cover of smartphones and theatrical masks.

Speaking of accessories, here is the beautiful eyeglass frames made by wood and decorated with lasercut. Really cool, do you agree?
