My passion for original look is not a mystery. I like clean lines, I love details and strong contrast, I believe that they best represent my personality.

The collection by Paulina van Dongen fully meet my androgynous and feminine style, sophisticated but no frills. The fact that I feel comfortable and wearing them I can also charge my smartphone … it is nothing more than an added bonus!

That’s right: the Dutch designer Pauline van Dongen presented at the last edition of the SXSW festival in Austin a shirt that recharge a smartphone in just two hours, a model made with flexible solar cells that leaves her shoulders bare and seems to come from future.

Pauline is among the designers who have most adopted the concept of wearable technology, creating garments that over trend also had a high technology component. Oloid collection is an example: starting from the same principle shirt presented in Austin, features volumes and geometric shapes of the garments inside which the solar cells details become very visible.

The right look that doesn’t go unnoticed, do you agree?
