Today I want to talk about an object as small as powerful: the portable projector UO Smart Beam, which will turn your smartphone into a home cinema.

Ok I let myself get carried away … but if to have a higher quality is better to move towards bigger products, sophisticated and expensive, the smallest laser projector in the world is an interesting innovation in design and technology.

UO Smart Beam is indeed a little more than 5 cm cube that connects to devices via Wi-Fi and HDMI projecting videos up to 100 inches diagonal.

The laser technology also avoids the need to refocus the lens when changing screen size and allows you to project on any surface while maintaining HD quality.

Here are some technical details:

  • Contrast: 80.000:1
  • Resolution: 1280X720
  • Brightness: 60 Lumen
  • Autonomy: 10mila hours
  • Speaker: 2
  • Domensions: 55x55x55 mm
  • Weight:362 grams

Maybe it will not replace your TV at home, but in my case it will be helpful to see the new episodes of Gilmore Girls projected directly into my bedroom without the background of “Extreme Engineering”, or rather my boyfriend in the living room.

Don’t you think it’s enough?
